What is Graphene? Graphene is a single-atom-thick, 2-dimensional material composed of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice geometry. This unique material is 200 times stronger than steel but incredibly flexible without added weight, providing a more efficient transmission of electrical signals. It adds strength, flexibility, and conductivity to the metal it is bound with.
Cable Design
The Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable is a new Graphene Copper conductor-based cable using 4 x 99.99998% GUP-OCC Stranded Graphene and Copper 24 AWG Teflon insulated stranded conductors.
The base of the Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable is composed of OCC copper–single-crystal continuous cast copper, or Ohno Continuous Cast. OCC is a manufacturing process that prevents any crystalline fractures or minimal grain boundaries, which essentially become potholes that the electrical signal must bypass.
The copper used in the Bronze Dragon Headphone Cable is devoid of all possible impurities that can change the coloration of the sound. With almost no distortion compared to ordinary copper conductors, each conductor is made up of a special, varying-sized stranded geometry. The Graphene Copper strandings are mixed with Kevlar strands to reinforce the conductor, making it stronger overall and less prone to failure due to the harsh, constant flexing that headphone cables experience.
The wire’s geometry, along with the Graphene, helps improve conductivity. Each conductor is encapsulated in a Teflon casing and then surrounded by cotton and a thin layer of aluminum foil. It is then protected by a 100% coverage braided tinned copper secondary shield and placed in a polyethylene jacket for further protection. The wire is soldered to a connector using high-quality Cardas silver solder.

The Bronze Dragon Power Cable is a new Graphene Copper conductor-based cable using 3x12 AWG Graphene UP-OCC copper conductors. The conductors in the Bronze Dragon Power Cable are free from impurities and have virtually no crystal boundaries.
The Bronze Dragon Power Cable is a high-quality cable designed to be used with all equipment in mind: From DVD/CD Players and DACs to Home Theater Processors/Preamps and Monster amps. This cable is dead quiet and rejects all EMI and RFI interference.

Like the Bronze Dragon Power Cable, we are using a 5-layer conductor geometry in the Bronze Dragon Speaker Cable, known as a Concentric Stranding. A True Concentric wire is characterized by a central wire surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid wires in a geometric pattern, with alternately reversed lay direction and increasing lay length.
The Bronze Dragon uses 5 layers. Each layer is a different strand size. Each layer twist rotation is the opposite of the layer below. The wire’s shape, along with the Graphene, helps improve conductivity.
At Moon Audio, we are always trying to improve conductor conductivity, which helps provide the purest signal transmission. See more Cable specifications below. The conductors are then wrapped in Cotton and Mylar to keep a consistent geometry. The outer jacket utilizes PVC, providing good flexibility.
